lingenfelter heads?

Greetings,
Looking at the Lingenfelter head and one pair states 11.0 compression and the other one for the Camaro states 10.0. How does this effect engine performance? I'm thinking that the 10.0 might be good for N/A apps. and the other for F/I. But just guessing.

Thanks for any input you might have,

Robert.

Just call them and ask what they think would be best. If you're not going fi then a higher compression is what you want. But if you call and tell them your setup what you have and what you want to do they can help you.

The 11.0 milling is good for NA and the 10.0 milling is good for FI but the 11.0 milling could still be used with FI if the boost is kept low or the octane kept up. I wouldn't choose the 10.0 for NA. They will probably mill the combustion chambers as much or as little as you want for your desired compression.

LPE does really good work but they are expensive. I would also look at TEA and AI. Value the GMPP ported L92 as well because they require no core and by the time you sell your own heads they are super cheap. PRC aftermarket is also a pretty good value when you factor in $500 for your old heads.
