trading in my v6. c63 or m3
hello everyone , i have 2012 v6 with about 17500 miles and im looking to trade it in because i noticed the v6s are turning into rentals like the stangs . I was thinking about just trading it and getting a v8 but wanted to try out a different car. i love my car and if it was a v8 i would have definitely kept it. however now I'm looking at a m3 or c63 . which would you choose and why please and thank you!

Both alternatives will have higher repair and maintenance related costs. Just sayin'.

The M3 is an amazing car, but if I were in your position, I would go with the C63. I've been in and compared many BMWs and Mercs and I have to say the Mercs are built in a much better way than the BMWs. I don't know maybe its just me, but the BMWs seem too fragile. I've always had a thing for the C63, and I would buy that car just to hear that v8. AMGs are one of the best sounding cars!
On a side note though, why don't you test drive an SS or ZL1? You might also like them. Whatever you choose good luck

Neither. Do you have any clue what it costs to repair and maintain those cars. More than its worth by a long shot.

I'd go with the C63 due to its bi-turbo V8 which is good for 600whp with just a tune vs the NA 4.0L in the M3 which doesn't have have as much room to grow.

I'd go with the c63 as well, but if you're not in a hurry, I would wait around for the M4. It looks amazing!

C63 for straight line speed. M3 for handling and overall balance.
