Talking Finally getting started

I have been reading this forum for almost a year and I finaly signed up a few minutes ago. After MANY late nights reading everyone elses posts, I have decided on my first mods.

The first thing I want changed is the sound of the exhaust. I have decided to go with the Magnaflow Cat-Back Competition system. It has a great sound and gets rid of the worst part of my Camaro, those ugly mufflers.

After exhaust, I want to make a trip to Houston, TX for a Vararam OTR intake. I have experience with their products and service. They installed an OTR Ram Air intake on my 2005 Silverado and I was very happy with the results.

I've had the car for 8 months and it's the best investment I have made in a long time. I don't want to get in too deep yet because I don't want to have any warranty issues, but in 2 years and 4 months, watch out.

I would really appreciate some feedback on these mods as far as being a good start. I also think they will work with other mods, such as LT headers, HF Cats, a ported TB, and a tune.

I am also looking to see the best place to buy the Magnaflow exhaust. I want to support our Vendors, but I also want to get the best value. Are there any Vendors here that provide discounts to us?

Sorry for the LONG post, but it's my first time and I've been hold back a long time.

I use IPS Motorsports to buy my parts. They have very competitive pricing. Send a PM to IPS Brandon.

If you do any work on your car, I would recommend installing the Vararam intake yourself. Easy job with basic tools.

Happy modding!
