I didn't see but do you have HFC's, high flow cats, installed? If not, you might want to try some. They will quite down the "hollow" noise you have a bit.

BBK LT's come with HF cats...they don't really quiet anything down.

clamps vs welds won't cause the "hollow" sound in the cabin...thats drone from your exhaust system. if your clamps come loose, then you will be able to hear an exhaust leak, but that is different than the "hollow" sound or drone that you hear. when i initially swapped out my exhaust with ARK, i had drone that sounded like it was directly underneath the center console. once i added the LT's it moved the drone to back seat/trunk area. you'll have to play with your exhaust setup to completely remove or minimize the drone. helmholtz or J-pipes will help you tune the resonant frequency out in the RPM range where the drone is most noticeable.

hope that helps

So you would definitely suggest an X-pipe?

A lot of guys are getting the x pipe for their MRT 2.0, for axel back magnaflows I cant say I like the interior noise, its quiet and tamer than stock but has annoying hollow exhaust note.

Very hollow.
