Stock LS3 heads ported small cam
Greetings,
How would the smog places know if you had your stock heads cnc'd and a non aggressive cam put in your car? Would the re-tune show up and they can detect that? I eventually want to purchase a supercharger but it just seem like a lot of money and not be able to optimize it. Ex... No LT, no high flow cats, no cam, no heads, no cold air ect... Thanks for your time, Robert. |

You can have HFC's and a CAI, you just have to put those back to stock before your smog. The LT's you're screwed here in the People's Republic of Californistan. The heads and cam, S/C, I don't know about. Hopefully someone on here can chime in with some knowledge.

Thanks Jag107, I only lived in CA for eight years and bought my first nice car thinking I could do lots of mods. Boy was I wrong. Kind of makes me want to move back to MI. Regards, Robert. |

Heads and cam. Unless cama is very wild they will not know. Basic is visual and make sure you are not setting any codes.
