LT ARH w/Corsa CB
What's going on fellas? I'm new to the forum and had a few questions. Any help would be appreciated.
I've spent a good amount of time on youtube listening to exhaust systems (axle back, cat back, this brand that brand). I've narrowed it down to the ARH w/cats and Corsa Cat back OR the SLP LT headers & Loudmouth exhaust. I haven't made my decision yet. I like the "no drone" the corsa has. I haven't heard if the SLP has a drone or not. Does anyone have or know of a video of a take off with the ARH w/cats and corsa CB? I have seen a few videos with just revving, but would like to hear a take off. Also, I'm not too familiar with cats. You have your cat deletes, your hi-flo cats, w/cats, etc. What are the differences? And more importantly, how is emissions affected if at all? Looking forward to this community. |

ARH + Corsa is a pricey set up but it is the one I want as well. Every time I hear it I feel my walet getting empty.

i have kooks with corsa. pretty sure kooks and ARH sound the same. i would go with cats. corsa cat back with headers is very loud at WOT. you should be happy with that alone. sometime running no cats can make the exhaust smell a little.
also i think LTs with cats should pas emissions. you should look at your states laws, sometime the law say you cant even move the stock cats, even if it still passes emissions |

I love the smell of no cats!! Smells like a muscle car should however i did get my ARH long tubes with cats lol.

Here are a couple of links to mine. Dynatech w/ cats and Corsa. I really don't think that header brand will affect the sound that much.

I have Dynatech LT's, Dynatech High Flow Cats and Corsa LS3, it sounds absolutely awesome, I do sometimes wish I went the Flowmaster, but the Corsa does sound great.

@ MikeSS - I'll have to look into VA's laws. They are pretty strict with a lot of crap, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some BS about not moving the stock cats. Although, only certain counties in VA have to even have emissions test. Unfortunately, I live in one that does.

I had the Corsa sport and ARH LT setup on my old GTO and it sounded amazing. It was loud when you got on it but there was absolutely no drone while cruising. Also our headers are made out of a higher quality stainless steel (304) as opposed to the SLP (409). Also we don't make a 1 3/4" header since we feel it is undersized for a LS3 Camaro. We have seen impressive gains with our 1 7/8" headers on typical bolt on cars all the way to supercharged cars.
