Canadian MSRP released

Just received an email from my dealer; MSRP on base model ZL1 $58,000 +$1,495 for freight. Autobook will be updated on Dec 22, and then he will know the option pricing.

Don't know about the rest of you but I am fine with that price. Now I just hope my dealer can get one.....

That's great news, thanks for posting

I was guessing somewhere around $60-65K base price.

That would be great. I would have figured mid 60's given the typical 20% extra that GM (and everyone else) charges in Canada

If this is true, then I commend GM Canada for pricing this car fairly for Canadian buyers.
At this price it is not worth it to shop south of the border imho..
I had expected a thorough raping and I am more than happy to be proven wrong.
Hopefully this is reliable information and not BS.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but I call bullshit. How many other times does the 'your dealer is an idiot' symbol come up on this site? The mark up on pretty much every car is 15-20%. I can't see this being any different.

More than happy to eat my words, but just way too low,IMO.

yes, but then add tax on top of that (GST/HST/PST). Up to 15%?

I encourage you to contact your dealer as GM Canada sent out a Home office letter last night with the base MSRP for the ZL1. It will list all performace specs in km/hr as well just for us Canadians.

I am pretty confident that you will find the $58,000 isn't B.S...
