Personally - I think it's the best stance thus far from the factory. I hate how most cars tires/wheels tuck under the fender/quarters. There's a limit, of course. Heck - I wouldn't mind a little more meat under the rear. I'd like to go as much as 335s out back.

Wider front fenders would also have an impact on the entire aerodynamics of the car.

I think they look just fine.

I concur. It is one mean looking SOB. Just sitting there is says "I want to kill and eat you".

To the OP, do you have anymore pics of your car with the set up you have on it.

Also a string line with a weight works good if you're on a level surface when checking clearance. From the one pic you posted, I think it looks fine.

somebody throw up a goddamn pic of the front suspension with wheel and tires for god's sake
I'm guessing the purpose of the wider stance is to help mitigate the weight of this beast in corners. I mean the MR suspension, while magic, is only part of this track stars story. A wider stance makes a big difference.

I think the ZL1 wheel offsets make it look tough. My SS wheels are too tucked especially in the front imo.

I love how the ZL1's tires look flush-ish. It's one of my favourite things about the top tier Camaro and Mustang…

…No damn stuck in tires. My SS looks like it had the tires slammed into the wheel wells...

To me, the original posts picture looks like it is not flat on to the side of the tire, but a bit in towards the center of the car. I recall the tires being flush to the top fender at the car shows.

Nothing better then smaller tire gap, and the tire being flush to the fender. Erik

The ZL1 looks monster...like nothing else on the street. Like...as in...WTF is that??? . As I said before, it looks like it belongs at Pocono, Dover Raceway etc...and it wandered off the track and onto the street. It says stock car (Cup car today) all over it. It's unique, a Camaro one off...surely not to be outdone in form and function in my lifetime I feel.

front tire stance are perfect, imo. Maybe the rim offsets allow it. More control/balance going in & out curves.

Looking at that top down view of the bare chassis it looks like they widened the front on purpose to enhance cornering as there is plenty of room to shorten the control arms and narrow it if they chose.

Edit: The longer the control arms the less your alignment changes as the suspension goes up and down.
