I think the V6 will be very impressive. I am going with the SS because I love the LS3 but the V6 is still very tempting. I had a 1994 Z28 with a LT1 which was rated at 275hp so using that as a basis I would say this V6 will run just fine. When compared with other V6 cars in its class it will stomp the competition much like the late 90's Camaro RS did.

The one I just drove DID HAVE the 300+ HP DI version of the 3.6L V6. And every other available option, except AWD, I believe... And it just did not feel quick - or light on its feet, in acceleration - to me. The rental I had a while back did not have the 300+ HP version of the V6... Sorry. - Ray Again, I do hope I am wrong here, and the Camaro V6 feels wuicker... |

If the V6 Camaro runs faster then 6.0 and 14.5 1/4 I will be shocked. |

After doing more research I think the V6 Camaro might do 5.7 to 60 and the 1/4 in 14.2. Add intake exhaust, 5.5 and 13.9 1/4. Thats awesome for a $25,000 Camaro.

agreed and even if the numbers are a little worse for a stock v6 at that price like you said is awesome

It seems like this thread is a bunch of keyboard bench racers who are digging on the V6 camaro though, not hating on it. Personally I think its going to shock and awe, but I think 25K is shooting a bit high on the price. Think 21K base, maybe 25K fully loaded.
