Every Camaro group/club I have found is either Northern Ohio (Dayton and more north) or Central KY which I am a part of. I am thinking of starting something more local. With it in place, we (group/club) could go cruising, out to eat, car shows, cruise-ins etc......I am also looking to make friends that share the same Camaro interest as I do. Also, with making something more local, could help each other with mods, problems, advise etc......

APEX CHASE: I would be up for that. Do have any ideas how to get this going? I am willing to put in the leg work but I am looking for ideas.

Start a social group here on Camaro5 and then start PMing members that are in the area. You might print up some invitation cards and hand them out to other Camaro owners you run into. |

I live in NKY (Crescent Springs) and see a few 2010 running around. If you get some cards printed up, I can hand them out at my store and while Im running around NKY.

I found out by posting this that there is another C5 member that lives 1 minute away from me......We have been emailing back and forth coming up with ideas of a name, shirts, logos etc. Unfortunatley I don't see that many Camaros in my area, I think I have seen maybe 5-6 different cars. I think the NKY C5 club should also include SW Ohio, as well as Indiana.......Thoughts?

There is a group of us that meet in south west Ohio, we are not an official group per say, just a group of friends who meet up and do cool stuff. We use this site, Great Lakes region and a "secret" group on facebook. If you give me your name I will add you to it so it is no longer secret, that goes for anyone in the area.

Anything ever come of this? I actually live in Burlington (Cincy & NKY guys know where that is). I saw a modded RJT (appearance-wise anyway) roll thru the four-way intersection at the Courthouse area last night and wondered if it was anyone on here.
I'm not usually huge on car clubs since just because someone buys the same car as me doesn't necessarily mean I'll have much other than that in common with them but still it might be interesting to see what other people in the area are doing with their 5th gen cars. I went a little overboard modding (performance and appearance) my '05 Impala SS so I don't think I'll change this car too much from stock. |
