Differential Fluid

Any suggestions on differential fluid to put in the car? I heard Amisol is a good fluid. Does it need to have something added to it like the one GM regularly uses? Will using something other than GM fluid void the warranty? Thanks for the help.

Royal Purple 75w90 gear fluid is one of the best out there. They're oils are nice, but they're drive train fluids are exceptional.

Do you need to add the additive with Amsoil Severe Gear?

They say it may not be necessary. If diff chatter occurs then you are to add some. You might as well put it in there so you don't have to go back and do it. It won't hurt a thing.
