I know it was alittle confusing for me as well, they are conducting the interview in hauppauge at the hotel, but there will also be a festival at smith haven chevy (a new dealership), I can get you the address if you like? I'm Going to go to the dealership at noonish with the vette and camaro, since it's technically a vette show sponsored by licoa (long island corvette owners assoc). But it sounds like a mini fair to me!

The interviews at the hotel in Hauppauge were only for Friday...the Saturday interviews are at the dealer...
I have a 10am appt at Smithtown Chevy in St James, so that is where I'll be...unfortunately I can't stay too long because I have a bridal shower to attend in Baldwin at noon........
They told me the interview lasts 1/2 hr, but I know I can go on and on for much longer than that about my HWAY STR...lol...

Keith and I went for our (MY...lol...) interview with GM this morning.....

I had my shopping bag with me...in it I brought my framed, signed litho and letter, my NY5THGEN and Camaro5 t-shirts, my NY5THGEN business card, my Camaro Scotty 'Team Chevy' t-shirt, pictures from Carlisle last June, my Hot Wheels RJT Camaro, my '1st Annual Oshawa Meet & Greet' souvenir hat and t-shirt, another Camaro cap I bought at Carlisle, and my ' PERMAGRIN' , which, BTW, I STILL HAVE NOW!!!...lol...

My scheduled 30 minute interview lasted 90 minutes...hehehehehehe...they couldn't get enough feedback and stories from 'this girl here', the most excited Camaro customer ever born...lol...

The 2 GM execs I spoke to had their video guy come and meet me too...he took photos and videos of my 'HWAY STR', photos of my signed litho, my 'Fbodfather and friends' signatures under the hood, and then - the best part - he had me sit in my car and he interviewed me and I had to give verbal consent to use me and my photos and videos.....

I also gave them a copy of my story from Classic Chevrolet this week (my Camaro facebook friends know what that is)....long story....I wanted to give recognition to Classic Chevrolet...

I told them about CamaroScotty, Anna Bearinger, Becky Rodgers, and Al Dobbs, all on Camaro5....

My family and friends have been telling me that ever since I got my Camaro that I am a 'walking and talking Camaro commercial'....lol....

We'll see what happens next...it was the best day...the funniest part is that they were giving everyone that had an interview a $50 Gift Card, and believe it or not, I had totally forgotten about that, I was just so happy to tell my Camaro story, even the significant dates with my car and re-connecting with my long-lost friend that I used to work with and who I bought my car from in Virginia and finally got to see in person again after so many years apart when I picked up my 'ROCKETSHIP', aka 'HWAY STR'...

All I can say is WooHoo!!!...and now I feel like doing my 'world famous, only for special occasions, smiley dance'....here goes.........

Awesome Donna, sounds like you blew them out of the water! You still remain our secret camaro weapon! Lol. When you make it famous and get on the camaro commercial, don't forget about the little people here (Aka your Sunday morning bellmore family...lol).

Not yet, but they gave me their business cards, and took my name, address, phone#, and email address...
I had to give a verbal release of my name and images when they shot the video.......
Maybe I'll contact them next week to see what's up...

Donna I have all the Camaro love in the world for you and your family! Thanks for the comments, support, and the friendship! I enjoyed going to MIS last fall for your shirt (and a few others for my kids - Thanks TEAM CHEVY).

I'm not done though - the 2011 Camaro brings new things from CamaroScotty.... You will see very soon
