If they were rated at 400hp why is it that they make more? GM techs are saying 415hp on 13s and up! Its all over the forums look it up.... I'm done, thanks for reading my post

It doesn't matter, it will go down in history as 400hp, because that is what it is rated at, why are you so proud of 15 hp anyway and thankyou for posting, so now everyone knows that it is whatever the car dynos at is what the car should be rated at, i guess all cars dyno the same to

The engines did change slightly when they switched from hydraulic power steering to electric assist. There is no horsepower robbing hydraulic pump so the power would increase slightly without an internal change. These numbers are right on par with what the 1LE guys and other 2013 owners are seeing on the dyno.

I am not trying to mislead anyone, I'm just stating a few facts I was given, and seen. 15hp is 15hp the more the better even if it was 2hp I'll take that over nothing!

The point being made is that chasis dynos are too inconsistent to rely on for this type of comparison as evidence. The only thing out there I have seen is the power steering which could be good for anywhere between 5-15hp, the higher gains probably with NPP exhaust.

This is good to see from GM, hopefully they release US pricing ASAP.

So you are saying the ls3 should see the same gain as an l99 woul from electric power steering and npp.

Guess that makes my "rated" hp at 440 ish. So in yo face l99s

I must not read enough forums. I have never seen/heard of an L99 making 415hp from factory.

But if its on the Internet, it must be true..
