Ground Effects

So I really like the GFX but I am still unsure because they don't match the car. I was thinking about get a body kit but everyone is telling me they never fit right and look bad. I don't think the GFX would look to bad if it was that dark metallic color since I am getting black stripes and black wheels. But if I didn't like it, does anyone know how much it would cost to get them painted to match the car? Thanks.

I think GM has shot themselves in the foot with this. I cant think why they cannot colour match it for you. Look at the high cost for this. Its just bits of plastic when its comes down to it. Cos its not colour matched and the added expense I would have to go thru to get it colour matched, im saying no to this. Also I'm not digging the square look of the rear either.

+1 if you are really into ground effect kits I would wait for the aftermarket world and see what they have to offer. Then again the car wouldn't be original from the factory for collector or resale purposes.

yeah its just gonna probably be pretty expensive since sometimes body kits dont fit right then they have to modify them... then they have to paint them and install them which can get pricey $$$ And I am putting on black aftermarket wheels on anyway so the cars not gonna be original but I dont really care since I probably only have it 5 yrs max

I wrangled with this issue prior to ordering but chose to go with the factory GFX. I am going to see how they look when they arrive then make the final decision....however I'm leaning towards the "Stealth" look in the photoshop area....Cyber Grey paint, matte black hood, matte black hockey stripes (maybe outlined in jetstream blue?), and GFX painted the same matte black, with aftermarket rims.

^That's a damn good PS!

I really like the GFX...problem? Same darn thing....come only in dark argent metallic. It's going to cost some cash to paint them and I'm already going to be shelling out quite a bit. Don't think I'll be able to go with my original GFX order.
