What he was asking is what was the cause. We all know what the symptom (you call problem) was.

There is no sense in posting a problem (symptom) without eventually posting what was causing it. We all tune in here for knowledge.

Yes they did that stupid key recall

and I want them to reverse it because I did not give my consent. They did not tell me what is causing the knock .

I got the car back they said that it was a cracked header that was the cause so we drove it around and no more knock

. But I also got bad news, my car key is no more

I told them to reverse it and they said that it was gm mandated so this is it

I did not receive one but I think that my mom may have gotten the copy when I was preforming a test drive of the new Stingray.

I'm happy to hear about your new engine. You might end up with a mass next to your keyfob and I don't know think they need any consent to give your key a tumor like mine.
