Most important thing in my mind is we need clarity on what options will be available from get go.

If goal is to position Camaro as THE premium, American muscle car/coupe then GM needs to pull out all the stops to get all the goodies in there as quickly as they can.


I will hold off if need be to get things like the HUD (My corvette driving buddies all say that is THE most useful accessory they have ever had)
Delaying availability of key options will potentially impact GM's profit margin and slow down the rush of buyers

I've been waiting for this thing now since 2002 - so I can wait another year if need be to get the right configuration (but heaven knows I will be twitching to buy one !)

It is important to keep listing options as time goes on, as well. Pulling out a lot of stops at release is great, but a new Mustang will be released shortly after the Camaro, and Chevrolet needs to respond with new features that show the Camaro will compete with both old and new models.

I got the email this morning as well. I went through the survey again but was kind of ticked at the end of it when there was no Camaro specific section like the email said there would be.

Without these options, please assume that the Camaro will come with standard steel 18" wheels.

Alot of those options get grouped together with the different LT packages on other Chevy cars. The prices usually are high individually so that you can see the price breaks the give you for getting the packages.
