*Sigh* Huge dent in Rear Bumper Cover from backing into a short pole.

500$ deductible + raised insurance aren't very interesting

I'm guessing I need a new bumper unless someone knows a miracle body shop in Montreal.

PICS!@!

I would think they could fix it, unless it's torn.
Good luck, and condolances.

Hey, I did the same thing. Mine is only an inch wide at most however.
My son is painting mine for the second time next week.
They will heat it up with a heat gun and form it back out. Yours is fairly large so they will have to use some filler to straighten it out.
Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

That's fixable. You want a shop that has lots of referable work with plastic bumpers. It's large enough that they will need to use filler to smooth it out once worked back into shape. It will take time to do but it is doable. Might cost you around the same as your deductible though

IF you go on AllChevyParts.net you can get that bumper cover for less then $300 and you don't need to buy all the components that go with it, you can just get the cover seperatly.

If only we had a gmpartsdirect.com in Canada, they have the bumper cover @ 225$.

Is there anything similar in Canada?

Ouch, sorry to see that :(

You could order your part from Dave @ Newman Chevrolet ( contact CamroScotty ). He will ship it to you , or if you want to save BIG on brokerage fees, you could have it sent just across the Lacolle border ( Hwy15/ I87 ) to Freeport Forwarding ( http://www.freeportforwarding.com/ )..... RickRay, and myself use Freeport often, and it's very simple to setup an account there ( free ). You just pay $3.00 per package once you pick it up.
