i have calculated the price of my camaro SS with the RS package using the price ordering thread.

1SS=$30,245
RS package=$1200
Tax/tags/etc. $2k-$3k

brand new Camaro SS with RS package on the road for just under $35k

does that sound about right?

also when is the actual release date of the Camaro? some people say this month and others saying its been pushed back 4-5 months?

That sounds about right. My 2SS/RS came in right about $36k. Production is scheduled to start in 2 weeks (March 16th). Not sure where "others" got their information. Perhaps they are talking about when someone who hasn't pre-ordered will actually be able to get their hands on one (since they have over 11,000 pre-orders to make).

on the price log it says there is a $3k difference. if i can get my hands on a 2SS/RS for $36k i will def go for it

yeah prolly with the tax and regestration for a 2SS/RS it will come close to $38k

i think im good with a 1SS/RS for $35K out the door. this car is a steal

holy crap. what is with the taxes and tags and stuff with all the other states. my sticker price on the denali i bought last year was almost 42k and i paid like 1300 for tag and excise tax.

1,300 TTL is what i'm talking about... not sure how they can tack on 3,000$ in taxes?

What's so hard about it?

sales tax in western NY where I am-> 8.75%

36,070 x .0875= $3156.13

I got my 1SS w/ a couple of options for $37k ... and thats everything including Sales Tax

I ordered a 1ss/Rs with Gm discount. It came to around $31,000 with taxes etc.

Gm discount= $27,824
Rs Package = $1,400
Taxes etc = $1,400-1,600
