Whats the average mileage shown
when you took delivery?
Mine was 21 I was there when it was unloaded
the salesman drove it 2 blocks after it was prepped
to fill it up I have heard the striped cars are taken
to another facility to have them installed
I don't know if they drive them or transport
The vendor is in Whitby Ont a suburb of Oshawa
about 7 miles distance one way
also note one column shows driver/pass
shown is the checklist for the stripes
Note the transformer info

I had 21 as well. I think GM drives them and the dealership drives them too. But offically not sure. Just what I've heard..

It looks like you have V8 with the manual transmission. Is that correct? Driving it to get the stripes could have added a few miles. Your car may also have gone through the extra QC that some of the V8 manuals went through (mine included). If that is the case, then they may have done some additional post-build testing that added the extra miles.

I had about twenty on mine as well. And yes mine went to Whitby for factory stripe install. I can't imagine that they'd drive them there to get stripes, but maybe they do.

Well I know in Texas that part of the PDI is that we are suppose to put atleast 12 miles on the vehicle for road test. Thought that was standard for GM dealers.

7 off the truck, 12 when I picked it up. The dealer tested it and filled up the tank.

I know the car was delivered with 21 miles on it
I was there when it arrived and waited 3 hours for them to prep
it's not really important I asked the salesman to drive it to
the dealers Ford store to clean it up because the car jockey
was a 19 year old I would call a kid who would flog it
It seems all the factory striped models have the extra miles
on them.
The sheet I posted on my original post had a line
for driver and passenger maybe the passenger was taken
to pick up a finished car There also was a gate pass my
salesman gave me that he found in the car, along with
the complete workbench sheet showing every step
from the original order to delivery printed on two sheets
and two build sheets, what a guy, did everything I asked and more
