Congratulations on your purchase man. When you take the Z/28 to the strip, are you going to run a drag pak (I don't even know if those wheels will fit)?? If it would work, I would like to see pictures! I am glad to see somebody going to run the 1/4 mile with one other than the magazines! Port the heads, just my opinion.

I will run it with my drag radials most likely...the ones I use on the ZL1. No need to burn out Pirelli Trofeo R comps...

They will fit.

Would Weld RT/s's fit? Just wondering. I would love to buy a Z/28 but I cannot swing what they are going for at the moment. The LS7 is just a great engine. I cannot complain though, I am fortunate to have a ZL1.

Unless the diameter of the brake rotor is an issue, I would bet they should fit no problem. The ZL1/1LE wheel fits on a Z/28 so that gives a good basis. I will put a 17" skinny on the Z/28 to see if it clears everything....99% sure it will.

It is in Atlanta, GA so maybe Saturday. Preliminary paperwork done & deposit. Just need to finalize everything. The owner is involved because he did the 20% discount purchase and never titled the car. It is a 12mile "pre-owned" car due to this. It doesn't matter to me...62,999 + tax & whatever fees and it's mine.

17" and 18" wheels (at least the ones I have) don't fit the Z/28. My old ZL1 track wheels 20" with the +30mm offset fit fine. They may be the ones I use for drag radials if necessary.
