We are still determining the host hotel, but in any case there will be an overflow host hotel. We will announce all the information when we make our decision, no worries.

There are some local hotels that frequently have trailers (Super 8 Hotel off US36 in Avon) for local events

FYI, there are numerous hotels in the Indy area. At each interchange point and I would suggest I465 @ 38th street, I465 @ I74/US36 Speedway exits as great places to bed down. You're not too far from the venue and its a safe and clean environment. Also if you want to get away from the mess, moving further north on I465 to 71st street, 86th street, US 421 and even Meridian US31 would still afford you a quick, straight shot to the venue on I465 with about a 15min drive if that. Good clean Interstate and hotels that are super nice and you don't see junk on the lot.

Of course the all new JW Marriott is available smack downtown Indy along with the Westin, Hilton, Hyatt as well as others, still offering you safe and secure spots and about a 30min drive to Lucas. I'm just off 86th street and I465 and there are a number of hotels in what we call the Traders Point area, food and beverage, shops and movie theaters as well.
I say book early as the Indiana state fair is going on at this time and many will be booking rooms for that as well as it's a 3wk event and not everyone wants to sleep in the cattle barn. LOL

Had a friend have her OEMs swiped from her carport at her apartment just down from the Colts Complex, back in 2010 and they took her iPod which was on the seat, CDs and did some other damage. No one saw a thing and the damage that was done she ended up getting a 2011 so she got the HUD but bottom line is, anywhere you go subject to be a victim especially if your car is more desirable than the one next to it. If there is one with locks and one without, guess which one they're going for and it doesn't matter whether its at 38th, 56th, 71st or 86th streets. I've yet to hear of anything here of late being lifted in these areas however and being LEO, I typically hear what's going on on IMPDs districts and with the state which I have direct contact with. Hopefully no one becomes a victim and we all L@@K out for each other.

Last car event I attended in East Liberty, OH for a Honda group my buddy from Maryland had his ride broken into and his Garmin taken. Security on the lot, window broken and no one saw a thing and there was a group of owners who camped out drinking bear and shooting the breeze when it happened. Hell, even a couple of guys did an install on another members ride who drove from NYC with the parts and had someone to hook him up in the lot.

Anything can happen no matter where and that's why I suggest if you have aftermarket or even these OEMs, to protect your investment as best you can. I have Gorilla Locks and each lug is a lock. Got a black set to go with the wheels in my signature that are for sale to save a buyer that expense of protecting them if one should buy them from me. We hope and pray that it doesn't so we can keep it rolling.

We're working up a host hotel and several overflows as we speak (At a rather handsome rate, too, compared to elsewhere in the area!)....Don't rush to book somewhere else if you want to be at the heartbeat of the Fest!!!

How much longer do you anticipate closing an agreement on a host Hotel?
