Just becuz you have it available at such a low rpm doesn't mean you have to use all of it. If you want to do some serious a$$ hauling, you're going to downshift. What makes these TVS units so sweet, is the power increase down low where you do 99% of your driving. A few psi of boost in around town driving is sweet. Full boost at low rpm isn't advisable, but a little boost in your day to day driving is all good. It's like have 650 cubic inches of displacement at your disposal, but not having to pay the price unless you use it.

Most folks that ask that question are usually trying to turn a positive into a negative. Their f/i system of choice can't make the power quickly so, in their mind, boost at a low rpm can't be good. Not at all saying that your post is leading in that direction. I agree that full boost at 2500 rpm is not a good program. It's just that full boost at low rpm isn't necessary. You won't have it with an auto tranny (it will downshift and rpm will go up as soon as you hit the go pedal), and you shouldn't use it with a manual gear box.

So you guys did this with no head work? What would happen with a little head massage. Give us a price if we just drop off our car and you guys handle it.

I usually suggest at least getting forged pistons and/or lowering the compression for the larger psi boosted cars on anything over 550-ish RWHP although the tuning, fuel system, octane, temps and how hard the car is beat on make more difference in how the engine handles the power than the actual power # itself.
