NT05R vs. MT Street Radial II
I just recently bought a set of 20x10.5 rear wheels. I'm trying to figure out what would be the best bang for the buck and I've narrowed it down to these two. Some of the factors that I'm taking into consideration are mileage wear, DD ability and track. I'm not worried about rain because I usually don't drive in the rain and if I am caught in it, I know enough to slow down and not drive like an ass. I put roughly 6K miles a year on the car and that's from spring to fall, so there will be some cold months. I'm also just getting into the track a little, so that's something I'm thinking about too. My first time out, my 60' was a 2.2 on stock tires. I do like to do road courses as well. I hope this is enough info for you all to help me. Thanks in advance for you suggestions.

Thanks. I get what you're saying with a "do it all tire". I was tossing the idea around of buying a strip setup with an 18" wheel. For now though, I was just thinking of a good 20" tire. At least for the rest of this year. I'm 90% on the street right now, and more of a spirited and back-road driver.

You should've gotten some 18's. Any 20" drag radial at your power level isn't gonna be all that great.

If it was me I'd go with the 305 MT. Since you're just going to use then on the strip who cares how long it lasts mile wise.

Either choice will give you more traction than you currently have on street tires.
