Reliable Stroker builder in Utah
I am planning on picking up a 2014 2SS 1LE this year and have been looking at the http://www.texas-speed.com/p-1019-ts...-assembly.aspx 429 Rotating Assembly with:
(or something similar) Callies Compstar 4.125" crankshaft Callies H-Beam Connecting Rods Wiseco 4.07" -11cc Dish pistons Clevite Main and Rod Bearings Balanced I was wondering if anyone has any experience with engine builders in Utah, someone that is comfortable with the full assembly, balancing, installation, and dyno tuning. I'm originally from Houston, so that's the only place I've had my 4 strokers built. Not sure I want to make the drive just to get my motor built. Thanks for the heads up! |

We build and tune 1997 and newer GM vehicles only. We're located in Sandy, UT and I'd be happy to help you get your project rolling. We generally purchase short blocks from various manufactures and put together our cam and head packages however. I'd be happy to help you put a package together that suits your needs. We've got a 429ci LSx block with an F1-X ProCharger on one of our shop Camaros and it will be over 1000+ RWHP in the near future. We have a DynoJet onsite and we do all of our tuning in house. You can checkout so of our projects on our FB page HERE as well. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions. I look forward to talking with you and have a great day! If Laramie Wyoming is not to far, talk to Brian Tremblay at Wyo Speed, 307-213-9965. He has done work for me, and I have seen two blown stroker's he has built.

When it comes to knowledge and service, you CAN NOT beat JDP. Professional GM certified people, knowledgeable, and genuinely bust their butts for customers. They've done all the work on my ZL1 and have built and tuned my buddies super sports that can now keep up. Solid guys, give them a ring.

They guys at JDP will do you right. They can set you up with suspension mods as well. At that power level, you'll be NEEDING some.

JDP knows their $hit. And hell, you got Jordan to actually respond to a post. You know he is just chomping at the bit to do this build. T.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix. Just walk in to JDP and you will see they are legit. Their shop is spotless, your treated with respect and they do what they say. I will be having Jordan put a Procharger on during the winter. I have been using JDP for the past 2 years and they are great!
You feel good leaving your car in their hands |

Once I pick up the car and start the build, I'll definitely post some pics. |

Stay away from 4.125 stroke on stock sleeves. Tall deck only imo... it won't last. Premature wear, yada yada. Ask me how I know this.
