NEW ZL1 hood :)
I am Finally able to complete my ZL1 appearance items I was able to pick up a 2013 OEM ZL1 hood w/ Exposed Carbon Fiber insert for a killer price (one of those deals it seems too good to be true type). The hood was already pained black and it has a clear bra on it all the way up to the insert and it’s flawless. With the latest addition all of my appearance items are OEM and now I can sell my OEM hood with ACS TL1 insert painted (hood black, insert Ashen Grey metallic). Just need to remove the ZL1 emblems off the hood and put her on the car.

FINALLY, huh? Now you'll be checking that ECF every time you wash it looking for cracks/chips like the rest of us.

Mine will not since I had them fixed to line up with my factory hood so I will have them moved when I re-paint the bumper in the winter.

May want to rethink that. Reasoning is, the resin coating on the ECF isn't paint from what I understand and I'm not sure how the clear bra adhesive would react to it. I'm not sure, though, but it's something to consider.

Installed the hood this evening ZL1 emblems coming off tomorrow (need to get fishing line & goo gone). I will run it like it is until the winter then I will have the bumper re-painted and the bumper lines moved to match the ZL1 hood lines.
