The Aqua Blue just needs to be seen in person. It looks different in different lighting conditions. I haven't seen two pictures that look the same or look the same as what I saw in person. I've seen the color in two different places and on two different HHRs and even those two looked different.

It dosen't! The awesome blue they are suggesting is called Jetstream Blue. There is a poll in the cosmetics thread asking GM to give us Jetstream Blue, its an incredible color. We are currently just under 90% in favotr of Jetstream, please go and vote. Even if you arent interested in a Blue Camaro, help your Camaro comrades that are. PLEASE!!!

Call me nuts, but I don't see a lot of green in ABM. And the IBM looks great, but even though I know it's splitting hairs, I wouldn't be able to see it on a camaro versus a firebird. Late fourth gen birds in NBM were just MADE for that color with the honeycomb taillight assemblies.. The pictures of that HHR at Indy seem to show ABM as being quite similar, a little brighter maybe than Lemans, which could be the coolest camaro color of all time. I think I just decided to get an ABM 1LT 6M with hurst and blade. Call it the "Lieutenant"

Actually, look at the first picture of HHR at top from the front, and look at where the sun hits it. That's about the most accurate shot of the color. It's a lighter blue, and it has a light green hue to it as well, especially in direct light.

More ABM
Here is another photo I posted after returning from Indy that shows more of the aqua tint. As others have said, no two photos appear the same. I spent a few minutes trying to get the shot as green as possible, hoping to match my Bird.
I sure hope the make this color available in the SS. I can't see spending money on a new car if it is not exactly what I want. |
