Uea all do but when stock its hardly noticeable but with an aftermarket exhaust it becomes music to the ears. I love how mine sounds at startup, in manual mode and it sometimes happens on its own during normal driving.

Agreed!

I don't like the decel popping after my new exhaust was installed. Going to get a tune and have it eliminated.

Other posts say it's from unburned gasses. I'm not an eng. so can't tell you exactly. But I do know it is there from the factory, my SS is mechanically bone stock and has done this since day 1. Wife loves it and so do I!

I too love the decel pop *borla atak catback. Wish that it was even louder to be honest.

Like others have said it is not really a v8 thing...My Gen 4 SS does not do it *stock catback with flowmaster added.
