impressive looking motor

I was at a Ford dealership today and i have to admit the Mustang GT 500 motor dose look more impressive them my ZL1 motor . Any ideas of how to improve the look of the ZL1 motor with out loosing my warranty ? adding a little horse power at the same would be OK too as long as it does not affect my factory warranty.

I think a lot of it has to do with the mustang V8 motor's exterior dimensions being much larger than an LSA. Even though the LSA is larger in displacement, the mustang motor is taller and wider in exterior dimensions. It also doesn't help that the mustang is a smaller car and thus has a smaller engine bay. (makes everything look more important). And blue tends to stick out compared to raw aluminum and plastic.

Take the engine cover off? Not to sure honestly.. I know turbos in the engine bay always impress me, or a magnasun charger/ blower

The GT500 engine is just clean looking. There aren't tubes, hoses and wires running everywhere and the heads with the overhead cam are wider/larger and more impressive looking.

I love my ZL1, but I have to agree with you. The S/C 5.0 in my wife's roush looks way cleaner.
