What do you mean by math back to crank? Like the crank equivalent of 422 whp? You would do 422 / .85 which is 496. Meaning 70 hp over stock or 60whp so not 100 for sure. All of this math is based on 10% drivetrain loss. Results may vary.

Then I guess +70 HP if your math is correct.

Either way, it's better.

I've got the CAI, inc and for the record it's not a night&day mod. I doubt that any airbox on the camaro is. Still love it though.

What did you see in terms of gas mileage reduction on the highway?

And before people chime in with "Dood, you have a V8...". Yeah I sure do. Had them since '89, when I was 17

I also have bills and I have to eat too, so yank yourself silly over V8s all you like but spare me the macho boy-man baloney.

I remember when I put 4.10s in my Mustang the general consensus was that your city would go up a little because it took less effort to get up to speed but your highway suffered enough to offset that.

Only makes sense

But I can cruise at 65 mph at around 1600 rpm now. I should just do the math...but I'm lazy

Night and day? Well granted it wasn't cheap adding the supercharger and exhaust for 200 more HP but it turned into a whole different car and yet just as drivable IMO and about the same gas mileage (of which I wasn't concerned about).

It was absolutely night and day difference to me. I should have done it sooner.
