Reverse light tint

I just completed my install of my reverse light tints. Here are the before and after photos. Photo one shows the right side with one layer of tint, the left side has not tint. Second photo has two layers of tint on the right side and one layer on the left side. Last photo shows two layers of tint on both sides. Looks great.

Bought these from:

Why would you tint your reverse lights? Isn't that a safety concern? Wouldn't incoming cars be less likley to tell that you are backing out?

Looks great! I have mine tinted as well, and when you back up they are just as bright and visable.

Light still shines thru the tint.

Not really. Knowing we do not use the light to back up with for seeing, they are just there for others to know you are backing up. Since most people are probably just starring at the Camaro anyway, they might not notice the reverse lights are on.

the reverse lights as they are do not do much for backing up, we all know that. I can hardly see 3ft behind the car because the reverse lights give off such little light. I have tinted mine as well and there is no noticeable difference in light. GREAT LOOKING CAR! nice work
