Mine did the same thing, sounded like feed back and it was only on acceleration, never at cruise speed. It has something to do with the active noise cancellation. They disconnected my feedback mics in the doors. Don't really know what that means but it worked. Sounds much better and no feedback

I would have said ground for sure at first but maybe it is some active noise cancelling. I used to have a very similar issue with a car that had a bad ground but the door thing is strange. Let us know if you figure it out.

I used a PAC SNI15 line out converter. So based in what I've read, and agreed the 2SS does not have ESE, that the Bose active noise cancellation seems to be the cause. So the next logical question is where to either bypass or unplug the "mics"? I was hoping one of the audio company's would make an adapter for RCAs and remote turn on like the 5th Gens, but I haven't seen anything yet.

I think sub thump is working on an adapter again. Not heard anything on it lately.

I read on their site they ran into the same issue I have. Guess I'll have to wait and see. Thanks.

fake engine sound .... active noise cancellation. Point me in the direction of this microphone or how to disable the feature in software because either one is not desirable for me. I like hearing my engine. Even if it sounds a bit weird not being a V8.

Am I reading this right? The Camaros with the V6 have some sort of active sound management built into the Bose system? The might explain why my car becomes quiet the instant I stop accelerating. Even in Stealth mode the exhaust sound is there while accelerating but at steady throttle or very light throttle there is no exhaust sound. Maybe it is just me losing my hearing.

I reworked the converter to another source on the stock Bose amp and voila, active noise cancelling is bypassed.

So will this only be an issue on 2LT/2SS or will it be a problem on the 1SS as well?

Any information/diagrams/pictures as to the "other source" on the stock Bose amp? I'd be curious to know what worked, so I can wire my amp/sub up that same way.
