Well like flarehaze earlier today. I also came from my dealership after ordering mine too.

My dealer quoted me a wait of up to 8 months? I hope it is a lot shorter than this??!!

2SS/RS IOM inside and out
20" polished wheels
Sunroof
No rally stripes yet. I think I'll go the painted route like some others here.

So far around here I have seen 4 others on the road
2 black
1 inferno orange
1 yellow

I was also at the GM nationals show in carlisle and did the camaro test drive. I was hooked from then on. Just a shame the drive had to be inside the fairgrounds and not actually out on the roads. oh well

Congrats on your order. And don't worry, once the car arrives you'll never remember the wait.

Even though I've waited nearly six months and when it's done will be over six months unless you just need time to save money or something I would suggest another dealer. If they said 8 months then they have a long line. If I had known better I wouldn't of waited so long. If I ordered today and they said 8 months I would find another place but that's me.

the way i see it is, if it takes too long, and i save up enough money..ill buy a 2ss. so by all means...im not worried if it does take a while

Congrats!!! I'm not an expert, but I think the only way it would take 8 months to get to you is if there is a loooong list of people before your order. It seems like the ballpark around here is 10-15 weeks. Do you know if your dealer had an allocation for you? My dealer will get the first call from me today and it will go something like:

"is it here yet?"
No.
"is it here yet?"
...no.
"what about now?"
......no.

I've only seen 2 Camaros in Miami. A yellow 2LT and a black SS (this morning!)
I'm predicting that mine will come in in October (3rd week?). You can quote me later!

Ordered ours today and my dealer told me 6-8 weeks. If it is more than 3 months, I'll die waiting. However, we will be saving more money for the down payment.
