San Jose Area Track/Races

I am looking for a place in the San Jose area to bring my car. I have installed a few mods and want to see what the car will do. Is there an open quarter mile track around the area or meets where people race?

Thanks

Anyone??? I need to get this car to a track ASAP. I am willing to travel up to the San Fran or Stockton area if needed. There has to be something around this area but I have come up with nothing searching the internet.

If you want to try to road courses instead of drag racing, I go with http://trackmasters-racing.com

At Thunderhill the front straigthaway is more than a quarter mile and i hit 125+, then I have to brake for the left turn. Each session is 20 minutes, so I get about 10 laps per session and 5 sessions per day. There are two other straights where my ZL1 breaks 105-110MPH.

OP, I work out at Sonoma Raceway and when the season has kicked off they hold Drag and Drift events every wednesday. Its always prepped fairly well and you can get all the runs you want. You will need a helmet due to how fast these cars are. There is never a heavy 5th gen presence and that needs to change! Hope too see some more maros coming out to play!

Sonoma raceway is the closest drag strip to your area.

I plan on going end of February. Being I am so far away I have to request some time off. Do they rent helmets their or do I need to go out and buy one?
