Definitely try to clay bar first.

Another option is what I tried a while ago: I used a mixture of vinegar and distilled water. I sprayed it lightly on the car and it got rid of the water spots. There used to be a sticky with the info...

Just to show you I am not joking. On a thread here it recommends going with either the 7424 or the 7336 models (not the sp or xp). I went on Amazon and Ebay too.

Ive been waxing cars for a very long time.. I bought Adams products at the Good Guys show in Delmar this past weekend and im SOLD on them. Use the green scratch remover first.. its is also like a cleaner then use the butter wax and your car will shine. Also the next time you wash it the water will not have a chance to dry so fast most of it will roll of your car do to the wax job.

I got my 7424XP from Amazon for $114. Just checked and it's now $5 cheaper.

Curious as to why not the XP?

When I was looking to buy a PC I questioned why the big difference in price between the 7424 and 7424 XP. Found a video comparing the two and the differences seemed purely cosmetic (the XP weighed like a couple ounces more and was maybe a 1/2 inch longer). In one of the Junkman demo videos, he was using an XP so that's what I bought.

I too have a 7424 XP.....and BTW.....if you buy a PC from Adams, that is EXATLY what you get, as that is where I bought mine!

I bought the XP aswell and used it this past weekend and my Camaro looks awesome!! Anything I have ever read has said to go with the 7424 XP---ie: junkman.

I'm not going to say how to remove them but here's a trick that might help you after you get the chance to remove them. When you have to wash in the full sun always start with the area that is in the shade first. These are the less likely to spot. Try washing the vertical panels first and then horizontal panels. This way the rinse from the horizontal panels keeps the sides from getting spots. As soon as you are done rinsing immediately go to flooding the paint, then towel drying. You don't have to use a blower until after you towel dry your paint, since blowing breaks the water into very tiny little beads which will spot faster. After you have towel dry the paint immediately come back and and blow a section a ( panel ) at a time (then dry any run off immediately with a towel). After your done do a quick wipe with a spray detailer that will remove any fresh water spots. Hopes this helps you.
