It's hard to tell a difference much between the two! They look almost exactly the same. Would have to see both side by side in person to tell a difference. It looks like the new red might be a tad brighter but its hard to tell but if it is its not by much.

If I wasnt going with IOM then CRT would be my next choice, although in my opinion it just begs for chrome wheels. Get someone to Photoshop you CRT with black and chrome wheels before you settle for black.

I looked at a couple CRT cars this weekend on the lot (cruze, vette, and some suv (traverse?)) and in person it seems to have a bigger difference than these pictures show vs RJT.

just my opinion

Tough choice. I do like the Candy one a little better. I have a silver 10 ss and I remember when all the paperwork was done I spotted a red jewel with gfx and the nicer gm wheels that are close to $4grand. I remember I wanted to change then like an idiot I felt bad that all the paperwork was done so I stayed with my Silver Ice Met. which I love. It was my first choice. I do regret not changing and if I got another chance id def. grab that Candy Red

I honestly cannot tell the difference. If you had not told anyone that they were different colors, no one would have known.

Here is the official CRT thread, just a few pics from GM on a Camaro (not photoshopped)

And in person CRT doesnt look as much like RJT, go look at a cruze, vette, or traverse in person at a dealer

In person you will find the CRT has a cranberry hue, RJT has a burgandy hue.

I saw a CRT Vette on a Sunny day, and it DID INDEED look like a custom paint job. It looked GREAT! It seemed to remove the maroonish hints the older RJT imparted.

The carbon fiber hood on the new CRT would stand out very very nice!

By the way, yesterday I was looing at Camaro's in my local dealers lot. Alot of them had the "flat black" stripe package added to them. The flat black had water ring marks, mixed with dust/dirt that I attempted to "clean"... and I could NOT get the water ring stains out. I did not have any chemicals, just plain tap water and a cotton towel. But it did not work easy. It made me a pinch uneasy about ANY flat carbon fiber hood or stripes.

The cars had been sitting outside at least 3 weeks at the dealer just for your information.
