GM Card thanks, Figures...

I have been on these forums talking about using GM card points and hearing stories about people getting "topped off". I have bought 3 new cars in the last 2 years. Actually 4 if you count my 2010 1LT. I used GM Card points everytime and not once was I topped off.
Now that I finally have all the cars I love and need, what comes in the mail..,YOU GOT IT. I get a letter in the mail that says:

Congratulations you have been topped off and it includes a $1000 private offer for a total of $3000.
The top off was about $800.

Figures....

Trade or not to trade...that is the question.

The GM card gives you 5% back that you can use tpoward the purchase of any GM vehicle. So for instance I had $1200 in GM card "points". They (GM) added another $800 to make it a total of $2000.00.

For a limited time only of course.

I got my "topped off" offer yesterday. I get this offer nearly every January. I used it five years ago when I bought my wife her 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP.

I want a Hot Wheels edition Camaro in the worst way, but I don't think that's going to happen.

screwed over

I just got screwed over. I hardly use my gm card. I purchased a new 2013 cruze and used my big $101 savings. Less than two weeks later guess what comes in my mail box my $2000 top off bonus:(

I received this earlier in the week. Can we combine the GM Card discount with the Chevrolet.com $1000 Private offer?

What is th max amount GM allows you to earn/redeem toward the purchase of a Camaro? Thinking of getting th card so whenever I mov up to a V8 I will have a good amount saved.

The standard redemption limit for a 2013 Camaro is $1500 - https://www.gmcard.com/core/vehicles/ra-2013

The offer says you may use it plus the $1000 Private offer. Does not mention limits or restrictions other than no ZL1.

The private offer is able to be combined. I did it in Oct. At that time they limited the card bonus to $1500 on Camaro. That bonus varies per model and day based on inventory, per GM. I just got my card top off letter last night. They topped mine by adding $1700 to it. Wish we were in the market for the wife. $3k off is super.
