How much should I expect to pay?

To have lowering springs installed? I have bmr lowering sprigs that I want installed and I've been quoted 500 bucks by two mechanics. Is that what everyone else is paying?

yelp, you'll pay more for the install than the parts... much like a clutch on a fwd car if the engine has to be raised or dropped, lol

$500 seems rather high to me. I've installed 4 sets on different cars and the whole job didn't take more than a couple of hours or so. Oh and these were friends cars so I charged them nothing. They just took them in and got an alignment done the following day. I think the average cost for an alignment around here is about $60.

It varies depending on labor rates in your area but it is about a 3 hour job. $300-400 is probably the average.

For that price, it better include the cost of the springs. Labor only--that would be ridiculous.

Planet lsx has an awesome write I did mine in 1.75 hours on the side of the road in NYC... You need a jack and a few han tools no spring compressor needed. I would suggest doing it your self.
