never had a problem with mine anywhere but i let it run out, il spend more time flipping channels then listening so regular radio works for me lol But 910 and some areas in north hills are bad for all signals esp radio/xm/data..

Most of the time I'm listening to the NASCAR channel,but I also listen to the '80s,The Blend,Classic Rewind,and Classic Vinyl. No hard rock for me!

I had a sirius radio that allowed you to program your favorite songs. The radio would beep and tell you the song was on another channel, press ok and it went to the song. That was a cool feature. I didn't have to flip through looking for something good. Now I just listen to an iPod.

Can the antenna come off to paint it to match the car like the 2012 and newer.

Yes you have to take the headliner out to get to the bolts or you can mask it real good and paint on car

That's what I'm on now, expires October some time.

I wish you could get the car without Onstar and XM if you wanted. Some things are forced on us and it sucks. I'm still pissed that I can't get my three levels of angry birds because I dont have Facebook.

Thanks for the heads up and good thing I didn't go pulling on it till it popped off. That would have sucked. I do like the roof better without it though.

Or you could just discontinue on star. I saw a car at fest that the owners had a huge ego and knew the government must be tracking him. He removed the system completely and patched up the roof. Looked like crap. (so it really fit in with the majority there) I wouldn't tear that stuff out. The next owner may want it.

I wouldn't go that far to tear it out but I wish you could order without it. The reps rubbed me the wrong way trying to pressure me into keeping it. And that's after the dealer forced me to sign up for it.

So your telling me that there are camaro owners riding around with tinfoil hats.

The biggest thing I dislike about OnStar/XM is the ugly antenna. I've been whining about it before the 5th gens even hit the lots in 2009. The Corvette as the antenna integrated in one of the side mirrors. I do not understand why this could not be the case for the Camaro. I even looked up the price difference between the mirrors, and it was something like >$100 between the mirror with the antenna and the other without. If that tech could be passed throughout the entire line of vehicles, then the cost would be immaterial -- and the ugly sharkfin would finally be gone!
