Thanks T, I appreciate the kind words!! It's really become a labor of love now....BTW I notice you have the Metra kit, how do you like it? I'm going that route also, would love to hear your feedback.

Well, the kit is decent enough. It does what its supposed to. You can add double din decks, its handles hvac controls, it even keeps on star function and steering wheel controls.

My gripes, it isn't the nicest looking thing, and it took a lot of fiddling to get the fitment just right. I plan to take it out and try some painting and more fiddling to see if I can improve it more.

But it does everything its supposed to to and I have no problems with it.

Thank for the info T, appreciate it!

I definitely want to replace the stock head unit & I like the idea how the HVAC controls are integrated into the Metra. I'd also either get it painted or Hydro-coated, but it's a plus to have a nice touchscreen instead of the stock stuff.

Thanks Luke! I've ordered quite a few pieces from Lupe @ River City Creations and I've never been disappointed with his quality or prices!

Thanks Pierre, and that engine bay hasn't been cleaned in the 2+ months it's been in the shop. I do have black billet with rivet caps for the towers, but what I'm going to do since I have the MPD1 Z-Force hood is cut a 2" circle right above where the Pedder's Adjustment knob was. The hood is actually 2 sheets of fiberglass with the bottom sheet being 1/8" thick then there's a little over an 1/8" gap to the top layer of hood. So once I cut the holes in the bottom piece, I'll be able to put the Pedders knobs back on with fear of rubbing. When I pop the hood I want people to know there's Pedders coilovers there! They cost too much to be hidden

Got quite a few more things in the works right now that are going to blow some minds

John,

I have a hole saw that would make a very clean cut of that. Stop by sometime and we can do it at my house. Then put a black grommet in the hole to give it a finished look. Oh and when you are ready to change out your head unit to Metra or Scoshe or Alpine let me know. I am doing the same thing and we can learn from each other.....maybe.
