My SS emblem on Heritage Grill mod

Here is how I attached my SS emblem on the heritage grill. I first had to slightly bend apart the emblem so it matched the angle of the grill. Then I bent the mounting posts back the their original positions. Then I cut some of the extra length off of the posts. And finished it up by tapping the posts for 1/4 x 20 self locking nuts. I used the mounting plate that came with it and it mounts very solid to the grill.
The emblem is a 68 reproduction SS.

The grill slopes slightly in from top to bottom so it gives the illusion of being crooked. Plus the picture wasn't taken quite square to the car.
