What cam for my Mods??

I'm looking for ideas for a good cam to go with the mods I already have? Without additional engine mods and I can keep the drivability but still sound killer and add a little HP. Any help would be appreciated ....thank you!!

My mods:
1 7/8 long tubes
Hiflo cats
NPP
CAI intake
Intake rod mod
BW throttle body
25% UD pulley
Custom tune

It really depends on what your plans are for the car...I am a huge fan of the BTR cams. The BTR LS3 Stage3 NA cam is pretty nasty and has great drivability. The BTR LS3 Stage4 NA is even nastier, but you might lose a little drivability. Not much though. It's all just opinion though. You don't have to go off the shelf, you could always go custom grind too. You could have the cam ground specifically for your mods and intentions.

I won't add anything else other than the cam!! I'm hoping to be somewhere close to 500 at the wheels and that is my goal for this car!!

The BTR LS3 Stage4 NA cam will get you awful damn close to 500rwhp (if not over) with your mods and a good tune.

Thank you very much!! Will my stock springs handle this or am I better off just getting the cam kit?

OK...Thank you! I'm guessing that BTR will recommend the right springs and push rods when I order the cam kit?

Same mods as you except the pully. I have a JDP stage 3 kit sitting on the shelf going in very soon. Cam, springs, push rods, trunions, Melling oil pump, timng chain and gear. Basically beefing up whole valve train so I know it all holds up well. With new tune I figure to be right around 500rwhp.

Do you have any plans to track the car? As someone already mentioned, your goals for the use of the car should drive your cam choice. I may consider a cam in the future for mine (similar mods to your's minus the UD pulley), but since I like to track the car, I would use a cam that's a lot more valve train friendly than those mentioned so far.

Agree. They tend to have violent consequences on your wallet given some time.

No tracking the car. It's mainly a toy!! Goes to car shows and the occasional long drive on the weekends.

I’m in the JPSS/Billy10mm camp. Reaching 500rwhp N/A without any head work means using a big cam.

Since you are not tracking it, you could keep the stock (friendly) driving manners by supercharging and would reach well over 500 at the wheels.
