Question Wheel/Rim Damage Repair

Anyone have the unfortunate luck of f'ing up their rims yet? Took the car to an automatic / touchless carwash (thinking I would be saving the paint and stripes) and ended up lightly scraping two rims on a guard rail within the bay... lightly scraped the rims but of course enough to be "eating me alive." Anyone have success with repair and/or suggestions? They are polished aluminum... in central/southern NJ... Thanks!

I scraped one, but I took out the insurance and the dealership has the new rim on order.

(Jim) Inferno2SSRS What kind of insurance did your dealer offer? I purchased the wheel and tire insurance, from my Chevy dealer, but it does not cover "cosmetic damage." Did you simply scrape the rim or actually damage it to where it needed to be replaced?

I got the full insurance package on it, it covers any type of damage as long as it comes from road hazards like pot holes and such. As long as you can say it was from a pothole your good. So I scraped one went in and told them it was from a pothole and they took a picture and said it would be in a few days. Its been a week and I'm still waiting, but I'm in no rush as long as it gets done.

If I remember correctly, they would charge $60 per rim, but I had some damage on my rear rim as well, so he fixed both of them for $75.
