2010 SS rear cradle connection measurement
Can anyone give me the measurements to the cradle connections points?
I am looking at possibly utilizing a whole camaro ss rear cradle in my 2009 G8 and need to know the measurements between the connection points to see if it is the same or will i need to make modifications or do i just use the parts. This is what i know 1. the rear diff will swap in 2. the knuckles will swap in, i believe i have to swap out one of the control arms. 3. i have to utilize the camaro axles. 4. I will need to utilize the rear brembo brakes and rotors, one of the reasons for the swap out. But if could utilize the whole cradle, then it is easier to remember what parts are from what cars. Any assistance would be appreciated. |

That is a tough question, maybe a sponsor with more knowledge could chime in tomorrow when they get back onto the board?

I just laid under mine and eyeballed it with a tape measure so there is goign to be a slight variance from these but if they are way off then you will know right away. Hope it helps.
Measured Center Bolt to Center Bolt Cradle Back Mounts: ~41.5" Cradle Front Mounts: ~40.25" Front to Back: ~24.5" Depth Change: ~8" higher at the back mount than the front
