Corsa Catback
I am ready to get a new exhaust and I see everyone seems to suggest the MRT V2. I have been researching all kinds of catbacks and I really love the sound of the Corsa and the Borla Catbacks. I have come to realize through reviews and such that it seems you just pay more for Borla's name. However, the corsa is expensive but slighlty cheaper and everyone seems to love it on there LLX engines. Obviously I have an LFX engine and I was wondering what everyones opinion of the Corsa catback on the LFX was? Is it worth it or is the MRT V2 the best option?
here is a link to the corsa catbacks specs and sound video. http://www.corsaperf.com/product_dis...px?product=850 = specs Thanks all! |

I think the Corsa system is awesome on these cars and worth the money. I think it takes the car to a new level just on the sound alone.

It really does depend on what you want. MRT has a deep sound but it also drones a bit so it's a trade-off. Corsa is known for exhausts that do a great job of keeping drone at bay. It also sounds really good... well to me. It's also a full cat-back so I think you get more for the corsa.

The Corsa is definitely worth it and definitely sounds the best, my friend has it on her V6 and I have the LS3 system on my SS and both of our Camaros sound amazing.

I have a Corsa cat back on my LFX. It is the best sounding IMO, thats why I bought it lol. I didnt want my car to sound annoyingly loud and raspy. I wanted an exhaust that was relatively quiet under 3k RPMs, but beyond that would sound amazing. I also didnt want an exhaust that tries to mimic the deep growl of a V8, trying to make a V6 sound like a V8 is impossible IMO, but making your six sound like a bad ass V6, that is what the Corsas are for.

I love the Corsa as well. It is nice a quiet when cruising on the highway, but sounds great when you need it.
I have some movies of it on my journal, including what it sounds like inside a parking ramp.
