I for one love your car! And if you get a second could you pm me the price specs about your side scoops? Those and a spoiler (if I could pick one) are on my list... After I upgrade my brakes, and do my headers/tune. lol. And to me, if your car has the lights, the rims, and such... Then its an RS, tell everyone complaining to shove it. (Which you have done a very nice job of doing, I cracked up everytime)

Like some have said about, haters are going to hate. They are just jealous to see a girl with a better looking car than theirs, I get it alot too. Just brush them off.

Here's some pictures of Envy while she was in the shop getting her new hood, deck lid and spoiler painted. I always thought that she looked kind of sad. :(

We did have a few paint match issues to work through. Fourth time was the charm in this case.

I suggest some custom carbon fiber parts from The Carbon Fiber Specialists to finish off the interior and AAC Halos for the exterior

I promised to answer all the questions about the front splitter to my GFX. So I'll give it a try now.

My ground effects are the GM GFX. They only come as a set so I do have the front splitter. I just don't want to put it on my car. I really like the way Envy looks without the front splitter. I think the new 5th Gen is all about the face, or front view if you will, and the look of the splitter does nothing to enhance those lines IMO. I purchased my GFX from my dealership...but that was the expensive way. I found the best deal by far on any Camaro part at one of our our own site sponsors GMPartsDirect...here's the link.

Originally, I was going for an old school muscle car look, and we didn't have ground effects back in the 70's and 80's. Once the car was lowered, the stance looked so good that the GFX weren't needed. Honestly, the only part of the GM GFX I even liked was the rear diffuser. I really, really loved the squared off surrounds for the exhaust on the GM diffuser. But I wasn't convinced that I needed to spend $2000 + paint on GFX, so my dealer suggested going aftermarket. We ordered a set of "cheaper" GFX and what we got was a cheap, crappy set of GFX that were very flimsy and literally stuck on. Needless to say...we sent them back and decided to give the GM ones a try...and I have never regretted that decision. In this case...you definitely get what you paid for. In the end, the GFX really set off the Xenon side scoops and accentuated that low to the ground look, so I kept them.

I really like the way the car looks without the front splitter though. It keeps the original look that GM intended for the V6 to have. GM added a splitter to the SS and I think adding one on the V6 looks like imitation. And contrary to what the locals think...I am all about having a one-of-a-kind...not imitating others.

Plus the front splitter is the only piece that requires that holes be drilled in my beautiful car. Try doing that with my knowledge...lol.
And if I was going to drill holes in my car...I might as well add a front license plate.

Those are the Xenon quarter panel side scoops available from one of our other site sponsors ShowStopperAccessories.com. Here's the link...they've gone up since I bought them last year...but still a good deal.

Depending on the the paint shop...it will probably cost anywhere from $200-$500 for the prep, paint and installation of the scoops. The scoops did need additional adhesive beyond the 3M tape supplied but my dealership took care of that for me. They are stuck down so well now that a tiny leaf can't even get stuck in one.

I'm working on that one...I promise...I've gotten a lot of pms and posts on the subject. No one had ever asked me before who made them...so I was unprepared. As I told someone else...I was a lot more concerned with how the switch was going to look inside than with what brand they were going to use. So I tried to call Quantum and get the correct answer but they've been closed all week.

We are in the middle of the biggest winter event that we've had here in Dallas in over 30 years....with a SuperBowl no less in two days. We are totally unprepared for this and our town is shut down...lol.

When I get the right answer...I will post it...along with a sound clip...I haven't forgotten anyone.
