Nice!!!!

Mine uses Enterprise rental for warranty cars... although I did better than the lady bringing in her Vette for service, she got an 09' Impala with cloth...lol!

I called around to several local Chevy dealers in my area and talked to the Service Managers to see if they have replaced any of the tops. I would love to find a dealership that fixed the top successfully. Only one other dealer had gotten one in and they hadn't started it on it yet.

If anyone has had 100% success from their dealer, please let us know!

I took mine in to day to the dealer and they did the work as per the service bulletin 08/16. (SUX2BU's fix plus felt tape) It only took about a half hour. They want me to bring it back in next week when they will have someone try to brush out the pinch mark and perhaps get so dye on it.(Tan top, pinch mark makes it look like a hole, but it isn't) I streesed I really didn't want the top replaced if we didn't have to. We will see.

And the drama continues....while I have to admitted, I sincerely do appreciate the effort my service dept is putting in, a little quality and knowledge could save a boat load of $$$...

Cars ready to be picked up, rear window regulator replaced, top fix w tape applied... only... I can't get it because I can't drive it with the top UP! Why you ask? Well, the "expert" trim shop who installed my top damaged the rear rail which attaches the top to the frame beyond repair... (and its raining here) Currently the top wont secure to the frame, and the only fix is....

(Feel the anticipation... feel it...) ANOTHER new top! Ordered today. Which will undoubtedly include another dim-whitted install and another $100 in tint and 303.

Love the concept of my car, hate the quality of GM!

But seriously, Suburban Chevy IS trying... absolutely no hassle since the first go around when they realized I WILLmake a scene, lol

Mine goes in Tuesday as well. Jeff Morris has called my dealership to relay the correct install instructions. I'm finally going to go through with this since everyone now believes this will fix the problem.

Wow, I REALLY hope my top never has problems. Kudos to you guys for working through these isues, you shouldn't have to.

Once they get your vehicles fixed correctly and permanently, you shoud be fine as many others of us appear to be. Fingers crossed.

I had seen the marks and had been driving top up untill my dealer could order the tape and recieve it for the TSB fix . I took mine in on Wednesday for the new fix .
I couldn't be happier with the results I have been top down since, I put the top up just to check it this afternoon .. and no marks or even a visible sign of an indentation of any kind so far. The trim tech at my dealer has 28 years experience and my Vert was their first one to do the fix on. So I'm keeping a close eye on it. Even though mine was not bad enough to require a new top I'm hoping this fixed the problem before it got any worse.

Picked mine up today, since theyre still waiting on the (second) replacement top to come in... was kinda funny, the service rep tells me- "gee- the trim guy really knew what he was doing- he had most of the new TSB already done when he replaced the original top, minus the tape and silicone..." I just chuckled at that... kudos to SUX for fixing GMs problem 2 months before their engineers could figure it out, lol!
