Sure.
Weathertech mats, LEDs for the cabin/trunk/license, custom black stickers to cover the airbag instructions on my visors, and a hitch. Less than 400 bucks worth of mods, most of which is the hitch. Why not?

I got nailed by an old lady, she was driving down the wrong side of the road at night with no headlights in a station wagon from the 80's of some sort and I was on my Harley...
I walked away and it was cosmetic damage on my bike because I turned it sideways and put it under her bumper rather than me run straight on and probably break some people parts too point is, I settled with her insurance company and had the Harley dealership doing the repairs order the exhaust and what not I wanted instead of stock and I paid the difference, it kind of work out

You guys that have been unfortunate to get into wrecks, are you going to re-do all of the mods you had on the car before it was damaged? Any mods that you really didn't like after you put them on the car?

I would be trading it in on an undamaged car. Fix only to get rid of it wasn't totaled. I don't like damaged goods.

I would replace everything. I like all the decisions and mods I have made to the car.

I would pretty much do the exact same things. Maybe a couple minor things like use 1 7/8" headers just because (I got a smoking deal on my 1 3/4" that I couldn't pass up $400). Maybe do full bushings instead of bushing inserts since I would probably have more money. I would make sure to find a 2011 so I could have HUD. But...all in all I would do the same type of mods.

If i liked everything i had on the car before the accident and wanted them back the answer is yes. Some mods look good but after a while you wish you went with something different or you see something better you wished you had found before the mod you spent money on. So for me it would depend if the parts i bought i think i would still like best.

Like others in this thread, I put enough time into choosing my mods to be comfortable with my choices long-term. Learned a long time ago to "think twice, buy once". Norm |
