My car doesnt know me anymore. help!

The key on my FOB wont start the car,. Either will the back up key. The FOB does unlock the doors. Radio can be turned on, nothing else works.

The key wont even turn.

Im stuck at work 45 miles from home.

IowaGuy, is there a local dealer you could call that would perform this work for you? You may also be able to get assistance from your roadside assistance number as well. They can be reached at 800-243-8971. I hope this helps you. Let us know how this all works out.

Do u have any tools with u? If so id try and disconect the battery in the trunk and wait a few maybe 15 to 20 min then try and relearn the keyfobs if it doesnt start working. I cant remember the relearn process if someone else wants too chime in.....

I bet the steering wheel is turned and the ignition is locked. Tilt the steering wheel to the left or right and then while you have the wheel turned a bit, try turning the key.

Yeah i read that wrong.....mine did that too me the other day i just had too take the pressure off the steering wheel.... Kinda freaked me out too
