Hey, I have and SS and wouldn't trade it for anything, but when you see the V6 getting beastly, it is pretty damn cool!!!
I had a chance to hear ROD leave the show the other night and it was impressive ,with out the NOS and that was in the village. some day were going to line up at the drag strip and he will most likely smoke my ass.

Hey buddy, here's a lil bit more accurate mathematical equation:

typical run with a v6 camaro is 14.9-14.5 give or take
you put in a 100 shot and went 12.5
thats approximately 2 seconds
so mathematically if you put 25 more then you'd get about 1/2 second
12.0 or maybe 11.99 if you could drop a few lbs out then you had last time.

thats my theory, sounds about right

He's doing 13.'s without the nitrous, so that math doesn't hold up(although I wish it did).

Rod1 - have you looked at getting the Richmond 3.55 gearing?

I got a proposal, F22's afterburners

Rod1, everytime you post about your setup I get excited and love reading it. Good luck with the extra 25 shot if you do it, but I am with the rest of these guys here, I don't think it would make much difference.

To get into the 11 sec range, you will most likely have to swap the gears.

Rod1 good on ya. Regarding "why start with a V6" quandry: For me it's getting in touch with my inner nerd I guess. Getting big HP out of the LLT 3.6 V6 is more of a challenge than it is out out of the 6.2 LS3/L99 and to some of us that's part of the fun. Then there's the 6cylinder snarl.....

no to the gears! Gears at this point won't really help... with the short tires he's getting the benefit of the gear swap... and it shows in his amazing 60'!

and extra 25 is going to net him about .2 to .3... get's him to the LOW 12s.. with a good tail wind and some weight reduction he might dip into the 11s..

Bah .2 secs. I don't plan on taking out any weight. I did run on 1/2 tank last time so maybe a bit there. You mentioned fuel starve. I would think since we are running such small fuel jets comparably speaking that it prolly wouldnt be an issue. Am I wrong? Or are you thinking the Injectors might not put out enough? Im using 52/24 jets for 125 shot.

It's All in the 60 Ft my Friend.

A 10th in the 60 Ft. is worth 2 on the other end.

Go to 150 shot and stop playing around, LOL
