2,000 already! I'm loving every bit of it except my stereo. Once or twice a week I get these ghost touches where it just goes mad tapping one spot of the screen over and over for the whole day. Then as quickly as it came, it's gone. I've tried to do some research on ghost touches and it seems it has something to do with a bad ground on the screen digitizer. It's at the dealer now. Hopefully they come to the same conclusion and replace it.

I didn't have a 5th gen but I did have two 4th gens and few years back. One even had more rwhp but I swear this thing feels every bit as fast due to the gearing and insanely quick shifts. The 8l90 transmission is a work of art. It doesn't feel like any auto I've driven before. The quality of the interior blows away the 4th gen too. I've found my favorite setup is using the HUD for speed and rpm and the gauge display for watching mpg and v8/v4 mode. The stereo sounds awesome and I love how easy it is to stream music from your phone. I have a google play music account and it streams flawlessly!

Some things that surprised me were the lack of hd radio and how little the passenger seat reclines. Also, the wireless charger is too small for a lot of current phones that now have wireless charging. I have a nexus 6p so I can't use it but I tried my last phone, a nexus 6, and it was too big for me to get it to work and my friend's note 5 was too big to get it to work also.

I love being able to make the exhaust quiet whenever I want. No need to install dual electric cutouts! The only thing I don't like is how much the valves stay closed in sport/track mode. You have to get up above something like 1900rpm to get them to open back up when you are on the highway, at least with the auto. I think the rpm limit before the valves open is lower on the manuals. Pulling fuse 51 solves this but then you can't make it quiet. I found plans to wirelessly control the fuse and I think that will make me happy. http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...ob-how-to.html I already got all the parts in, just need to find time to do it.

I dunno how you are driving the V8 and gettin 27 mpg. I barely get 14city and I have the v6 manual and I shift before 2.5k in every gear and typically go 3rd to 5 or 6.
Not complaining, just amazed is all. LOVE MY RIDE!

Heh, it's definitely possible. I pull off 30mpg average on the highway to work and back on my 25 mile drive. Pretty sure the v4 mode helps a lot

Really? This seems a bit off, what does you'er last 50 mile avg show? My V6 manual does way better than that. My best is the exact same as the OPs, witch is saying a lot for the A8 considering it did that on a SS V8!!

Here is my Last 50 miles in a V6 manual

That does look great. I love it! What color does the original armrest have with your ceramic interior?

NJ Tribute,
I like the white knee trim pad kit. It's a little pricey. Though.
How many pieces do you get?
Just the 2 (two) as shown in your picture?

You get two smaller ones also. One for each door. Compare his door to yours and you'll see it

I just sold my stock knee pads for $150 bucks so in the end made getting them worth it!
